Marie Schoups

I am a doctoral researcher at Ghent University, where my current research focuses on the representation of children and violence in contemporary novels on the border between Mexico and the United States. Myinterest is not limited to the US-Mexican border alone, but concerns borders and migration processes across the world, as well as political, societal and cultural issues related to Latin America.
